Brooklyn artist’s work featured in ‘House of Cards’

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -Drawings made with soft pastels that look as though they were photographs line the set of the hit Netflix series ‘House of Cards. ‘
The artist behind the amazing pieces is Brooklyn resident Zaria Forman.
“A friend of a friend who is graphic designer on the show loved it (my work) and really wanted to put it on,” said Forman.
Using only her fingers and hands, Forman smudges the soft pastels into in her canvas.
Among her most popular pieces is a series about climate change. Forman visited the Maldives which is vulnerable to rising sea levels. She recreated the choppy seas and landscapes to draw attention to the island.
