Join us for the opening of Michael Schultheis’ exhibition featuring new painting and sculptures, Venn Pirouettes, next Wednesday, September 5, 6 – 8 p.m.

Michael Schultheis’s exhibition continues his exploration of the world through mathematics, and focuses on relationships and love. He writes, “In these paintings I explore what happens when two people are beginning a relationship and develop an attraction for each other, and then start moving through their lives together. This is based on the Greek allegory of Zeus slicing a human in half, and then both halves circumnavigate the earth to find their Soul Mate. Once the two lovers have found each other, Hephaestus sews them up on the other side. Fused together, like conjoined twins, we become whole.”
