IN THE STUDIO: TRACY ROCCA

Artist Tracy Rocca invites us into her studio, sharing her materials, methods and new works.

Tracy Rocca creates fluid abstracted landscape paintings that consist of intricate layers of oil paint, carefully built up over time to achieve their characteristic luminosity and unique sense of depth.

In her work, Rocca seeks to preserve a moment in time and to capture the feeling of being in specific environments. Her blurred images create a space where the mind can rest and serves as a reminder that calm can exist amidst the chaos of daily life.

Tracy Rocca’s work has been exhibited throughout the United States and is included in the United States Embassies Collection, the Microsoft Art Collection, the Ritz Carlton and the University of New Mexico Collection.
